The HP Reverb G2 is a PC-VR headset. This means that it needs to be connected to a computer to work. The Reverb G2 is a 6DoF headset with built-in inside-out tracking. This is made possible by the 4 cameras located at the lower front and sides of the headset. 6DoF means ‘six degrees of freedom’. While 3DoF only gives the user the possibility to look around, 6DoF gives the user the possibility to walk freely in a certain space.
