Hand tracking relies on the 4 high-speed wide-angle cameras and consistent ambient lighting. If you experience “jitter” or your virtual hands disappear:
Check Lighting:
Avoid pitch-black rooms or extremely high-contrast lighting (e.g., sitting directly under a spotlight). The AI needs to see the contrast of your finger joints.
Clean the Sensors:
Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe the four tracking cameras on the front and sides of the visor. Even a tiny fingerprint smudge can cause “sensor blindness.”
Recalibrate:
Go to Settings > Advanced Features > Tracking and select “Recalibrate Hand Tracking.” Follow the on-screen prompts to “re-map” your hand skeleton to the Galaxy AI model.
Avoid Reflective Surfaces:
Large mirrors or glass walls can create “ghost hands” that confuse the infrared sensors.
