What kind of display does the Magic Leap 2 have?

The Magic Leap 2 has a binocular display, meaning there are two Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) Displays, one for each eye. The headset’s displays offer native passthrough, allowing users to directly perceive reality through transparent screens, rather than through a camera that captures and displays the surroundings.

The Displays have a resolution of 1440 x 1760 pixels, delivering detailed and clear visuals. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the device ensures smooth and fluid motion. The brightness range of 20 to 2000 nits adapts to different lighting conditions, providing optimal visibility and preserving image quality.

Featuring a field of view of 44.6 x 53.6 x 70 degrees, the Magic Leap 2 offers an expansive view, allowing users to immerse themselves in a wider visual environment. Additionally, the Magic Leap 2 offers a range of operation from 37 cm to infinity, accommodating a wide field of view for immersive experiences.
