The HP Reverb G2 is a PC-VR headset and not a standalone headset. Thus, it does not have a chipset dedicated to process what is being displayed. Instead it uses your PC to do all the processing and computing. To use the HP Reverb G2 you will need a Windows 10 PC that meets the following requirements. HP recommends an Intel i5/i7, an AMD Ryzen 5 or higher for CPU. At least 8GB of RAM, although 16 is preferred. For the GPU, a GTX 1060 or RX580 is enough for half-resolution. For full resolution you will need a GTX 1080, RX5700 or higher. Further, a DisplayPort on the GPU and a USB 3.0 port (type-C) is required. HP includes a mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter and a USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter.
