Depending on the color and whether they’re solid or blinking, the lights on your Oculus Quest 2 and it’s controllers will indicate the following:
Headset
Color | State | Indication |
White | Solid | Screen is on |
White | Blinking | Rebooting or turning on |
Purple | Blinking | Performing factory reset |
Blue / Red | Blinking | Battery is fully discharged |
Headset is charging
Color | State | Indication |
Green | Solid | Battery is charged |
Orange | Solid | Battery is charging |
Red | Solid | Battery is low |
No light | None | Battery is not charging |
Controllers

White | Solid | Controllers are on |
White | Blinking | Controllers are in pairing mode |
but what about blue?
What Does It Mean If My Headset light turns a solid Cyan Blue AND flashing red. It did this first thing this morning, I’ve never seen this blue before though.
