What are the wireless networking standards supported by the Samsung Galaxy XR?

The Samsung Galaxy XR is engineered with the Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 system, making it one of the first spatial computers to support Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be).

Wi-Fi 7 Advantage:

It utilizes 320MHz channels and Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows the headset to connect to multiple bands (5GHz and 6GHz) simultaneously. This is critical for maintaining a stable, lag-free connection when streaming high-bitrate 8K spatial video or performing wireless PC-VR tethering.

Bluetooth 5.3:

Provides a robust, low-energy connection for peripherals such as the Galaxy Watch, wireless keyboards, and game controllers.

Ultra-Wideband (UWB):

Enables precision “Spatial Finding” for the headset and allows for instant, directional Quick Share transfers between the headset and other UWB-enabled Galaxy devices.
