How to use the camera on the Magic Leap 2?

How to use the camera to capture a screenshot/photo on the Magic Leap 2

1. Go to the main menu by pressing the “Home” Button which is located at the bottom of the controller displaying a house.
2. The main menu displays square icons aligned vertically on the left side.
3. Select the “Camera” icon which is located at the top of those square icons.
4. There it will be explained how to use the camera of the Magic Leap 2.
5. To take a screenshot/photo of your view, hold the “Home” button and at the same time tap the “Bumper” button. The “Bumper” button is located on the back of the controller over the “Trigger” Button.
6. A countdown timer will begin, starting from 3, allowing you time to orient yourself towards the desired direction for capturing a screenshot/photo.
7. A white border will enclose the outer edges of your view, indicating that a screenshot/photo has been captured.

How to use the camera to record a video on the Magic Leap 2

1. Go to the main menu by pressing the “Home” Button which is located at the bottom of the controller displaying a house.

6. A countdown timer will begin, starting from 3, allowing you time to orient yourself towards the desired direction you want to start the recorded video.
7. A white border will enclose the outer edges of your view, indicating that a video is recording.
8. To stop recording, again press and hold the “Home” button and at the same time hold the “Bumper” button for 1,5 seconds. Then release both buttons at the same time.
