AR (Augmented Reality): The cameras on the outside of the headset capture the inside and it will be displayed on the lenses in addition to virtual elements.

How to turn the Lynx R1 from a Mixed Reality headset into a VR headset
The Lynx R1 has the possibility to transition from an AR to a VR headset. To elevate the VR immersion, users have the option to block out the view to the sides by attaching the VR interface to the headset which comes delivered together with the headset. To attach the interface, align it with the headset’s lens side, where magnets will hold it in place.
How to turn the Lynx R1 into a VR headset inside the software
- Navigate to the Lynx menu. To access the menu press the long button located on the top of the headset on the right side and quite the current application.
- On the left side of the dock in the Lynx menu you see a “AR / VR toggle”.
- Click on it to switch from AR to VR.
You successfully turned the Lynx R1 into a VR headset.
