In this article, you will learn how to set up the boundary on the Pico 4.
What is needed:
- Pico 4 Headset
- Pico 4 Controllers
How to set up a boundary on the Pico 4 from start up
- When turning on the Pico 4 the headset you will be asked to set up the boundary area.
- Here you can choose between a ‘Quick Setup’ or ‘Custom’.
- If you choose ‘Quick Setup’, your playing area is circular and you can set it to 3 different sizes. You can also choose to play sitting or standing.
- If you choose ‘Custom’, you will first set the height of the floor in your room by raising or lowering the controller to ground level and then using the ‘Trigger’ to confirm.
- After that you need to draw your playing area on the floor using one of the controllers by using the ‘Trigger’ and drawing a line around your playing space.
- Once you are done with the setup, you can press ‘Start Play’ to proceed. If you are not satisfied, click ‘Reset Play Area’.
How to set up a new boundary from the menu
- From the home menu, Select ‘Quick Settings’ at the bottom right corner of the dock.
- From this menu select play boundary in the middle of the menu.
- This will open the same menu that appears when turning on the device. Here you can choose between a Quick Setup or Custom.
