Setting up a boundary on the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX helps ensure a safe VR experience by defining a play area within your physical space.
How to set up a boundary on the Lenovo ThinkReality
- Make sure the physical space where you set your boundary is free of obstacles and hazards to ensure a safe VR experience.
- Put on your Lenovo ThinkReality VRX headset and put it on
- Open up the main menu
- Open Settings by clicking on the gear icon on the ThinkReality VR Dock.
- Select boundary.
- At the bottom you have the ‘reset boundary‘ button and click on it
- Follow the on-screen instructions to start setting your boundary. You will usually need to walk around the perimeter of your playing area while the headset tracks your movements.
- Use the controller to mark the boundary points.
- Adjust the boundary settings as needed. You may have options to adjust the size and shape of your play area or to move the boundary. Note: Make sure the boundary covers a safe area with enough room to move without hitting obstacles.
- Complete the setup process by saving your boundary settings.
- Check the boundary by moving through the defined play area to make sure the system detects the boundary properly and alerts you when you approach the boundary.
- Exit the boundary setup menu and return to the main VR interface.
