What is needed:

  • RealWear Navigator 500

How to set a lockscreen on the RealWear Navigator 500:

  1. Turn on your RealWear Navigator 500.
  2. Make sure you are in the home menu by saying “Hauptmenü”.
  3. Enter the settings menu by saying ‘’My Controls’’ followed by ‘’More Settings’’.
  4. Say ‘’Page Down’’ followed by ‘’Security’’.
  5. Say ‘’Screen Lock’’.
  6. Say ‘’PIN’’.
  7. Move your head left and right until the number you want to select is within the frame. Say ‘’Select’’ to enter the number.
  8. Repeat step 4 to enter the desired PIN code. The PIN can vary from 4 to 16 digits. When complete, say ‘’Next Item’’.
  9. Re-enter the PIN code for confirmation. When complete, say ‘’Next Item’’.
  10. A window of notifications options will appear. Select the desired notifications display option. This will determine if the RealWear Navigator 500 will display notifications on the homescreen when the device is locked.
  11. When finished, say ‘’Done’’.
  12. The screenlock is now enabled.
