How to screencast the RealWear Navigator 500 ?

This article will explain how to screencast the RealWear Navigator 500, either over USB or wirelessly over WiFi.

What is needed:

  • RealWear Navigator 500
  • Computer with RealWear Explorer installed
  • USB-C cable

How to screencast the RealWear Navigator 500 over USB:

  1. Open RealWear Explorer on your computer
  2. Connect the RealWear Navigator 500 to the computer using a USB-C cable
  3. Screencasting should work automatically

How to screencast the RealWear Navigator 500 over WiFi:

  1. Make sure the RealWear Navigator 500 and your computer are connected to the same WiFi-network
  2. Connect the RealWear Navigator 500 to RealWear Explorer using a USB cable and begin streaming over USB
  3. When streaming begins automatically, select the ‘’Disconnect from RealWear Cast’’ button
  4. Select the ‘’Connect using RealWear Cast’’ button, which now will connect wirelessly
  5. Follow the instructions on the wizard to pair the RealWear Navigator 500 with RealWear Explorer
  6. Accept any prompts that will pop up on the RealWear Navigator 500 to allow RealWear Explorer to capture the screen
  7. It is now safe to unplug the RealWear Navigator 500 from the USB cable and screencast wirelessly.
