In this article you will learn how to program the NFC tag of the Flight Case with your own data.
What is needed:
- NFC tag located on the Flight Case
- iPhone with IOS 13 or newer / Android phone with NFC
- NFC Tools (iPhone) / NFC Tagwriter (Android)
How to program the NFC tag of the Flight Case
- Make sure NFC is turned ON on your smartphone.
Android: Go to Settings, search ‘NFC’ and enable it.
iPhone: You don’t need to do anything, on iPhones NFC is automatically turned on. - Download the NFC app.
Android: Go to the Playstore, search for ‘NFC tagwriter’ and install it.
iPhone: Go to the App Store, search for ‘NFC Tools’ and install it. - Open the NFC app.
- Click ‘Write’ and then ‘new dataset’.
- Choose what kind of data you want to write to the NFC tag
This can be for example a link to a webpage, contact information, phone number, text information, etc. - Fill in the information:
Enter the data you want to write to the tag. - Press ‘write’, then confirm overwrite, and ‘write’ again.
- Programm the tag:
Hold your phone near the NFC tag until you get a message ‘Write successful’.
You’ve now programmed your NFC tag with custom data.
