In this article you will learn how to factory reset the RealWear HMT-1.
What is needed:
- RealWear HMT-1
What to do:
- Turn on your RealWear
- Go to my programs
- Go to settings by saying settings
- Go down a page and say: system
- Say: reset > erase all data (factory reset) > reset device
Your device should now be factory reseted. If your device stops responding, you need to reset the device via Android Debug Bridge (ADB):
- Connect the device to your PC, using a USB-C cable
- Open the RealWear Explorer (Read here how to install the RW Explorer)
- Launch ADB by pressing ADB in the top right corner of your RW Explorer
- Run the command: “ADB reboot recovery“
- The device will reboot and stay on the RealWear logo
- Press and hold the Action Button for 3-5 secs and release, you will see the recovery options on the display
- Use the action button to navigate through those options – each press will move to the next item
- Once you have “Wipe data/factory reset” highlighted, press the power button
- It will ask for confirmation, select Yes using the power button
- After the factory reset is done, choose reboot now or restart
