How to create an admin account in Quest for Business? 

In this article you will learn How to create an admin account in Quest for Business. Admins have permission to more actions in Quest for Business than regular accounts. When changing an account into an admin you can choose between two different admin roles: System admin or Quest device admin. Important to note that only a system admin can assign an admin role to an account. View this article to learn about the differences between those two admin roles.

What is needed:

  • Admin Quest for Business account 
  • Computer
  • Wi-Fi connection

How to turn an account into an admin in Quest for Business

  1. Log in to the Admin Center.
  2. On the left side of the screen you will see icons. Select the Peoples icon.
  3. Select “Admin roles” on the left side.
  4. Click on “+ New admin”.
  5. Enter the name of the desired account in the search bar and select it.
  6. Assign admin roles for the account by selecting the boxes on the left side.
  7. On the right side you will see an overview of actions this account has access to and actions this account is not able perform.
  8. Select assign role.

You successfully turned an account into an admin in Quest for Business.
