How to connect a Pico G2 4K Enterprise to ArborXR

In this article you will learn how to connect a Pico G2 4K Enterprise to ArborXR.  *Important You need to have downloaded the Desktop Pairing Application to your computer, read here how to download it.

What is needed:

  • Pico G2 4K Enterprise 
  • Pico G2 4K Enterprise controller
  • Computer
  • Active Wi-Fi connection
  • USB-C cable

Step 1: Enable Developer mode on the Pico G2 4K Enterprise

  1. Turn on the Pico G2 4K Enterprise and put it on.
  2. Click on the settings icon on the bottom of the display.
  3. Click on “General”.
  4. Click eight times on “Software Version”, the developer option should now appear on the bottom left of the display.
  5. Click on “Developer”.
  6. Scroll down and click on “System”.
  7. Click on “About Device”.
  8. Click eight times on “Pui Version”, the developer options should now appear in the system menu.
  9. Go back to open the system menu.
  10. Click on “Developer Options”.
  11. Scroll down to “Debugging” and enable USB debugging.
  12. You have now enabled developer mode.

Step 2: Connect the Pico G2 4K Enterprise to computer

  1. Open the Desktop Pairing App on your computer and sign-in with your ArborXR account.
  2. Plug the USB-C cable into the Pico G2 4K Enterprise USB-C port, located at the bottom of the Pico G2 4K Enterprise next to the power button.
  3. Plug the other end of the cable into the computer.
  4. Click on “Install” on your computer.
  5. Wait for the device to be installed.
  6. Once the Desktop Pairing App says “Device Paired”, the Pico G2 4K Enterprise is connected to ArborXR.
