In this article you will learn how to clean the Lynx R1.
What is needed:
- Lynx R1 headset
- Microfiber cloth
- Optional: Spray Twice a Day
To clean your headset, DO NOT:
- Use chemical cleansers
- Use alcohol
- Steam the device
- Submerge the device in liquids or pour cleaning liquids over, into or on the device
- Spill any liquid into the system seams, ports or lens edges
How to clean the Lynx R1
- Make sure the headset is turned off. It is turned off if the LED lights on the headset are not lighting up.
- Remove the magnetic foam inlays. To take them off, simply grab the foam and gently pull it towards you.
- These foam inlays can be washed with mild soap and water. Let them dry fully until reattaching to the headset.
- Take the dry microfiber cloth and gently wipe the displays.
- To clean the rest of the headset lightly moisten the microfibre cloth with the Spray twice a Day and wipe the surfaces. Make sure that no liquid comes into contact with your headset, especially the sensors and ports.
- Once the foam inlays are completely dry, insert them back on the headset
The Lynx R1 is now clean and ready to be used.
