How to detach the battery cradle of the HTC Vive XR Elite

Make sure the headset is turned off.

Disconnect the USB-C cable from the battery cradle which is located on the right side of the headset.

Press the button located on the right side of the headset and gently pull the front part of the headset and the battery cradle apart. Make sure you don’t pull both parts too far apart as the other side is still connected.

Now press the button located on the left side of the headset and gently pull the front part of the headset and the battery cradle apart.

You will now know how to detach the battery cradle of the HTC Vive XR Elite.

Take the battery cradle and align the left side of the headset with the left side of the battery cradle. The right side of the battery cradle is the side with the USB-C cable.

Attach both sides by sliding them into the space previously occupied by the battery cradle or the temple pads.

Connect the USB-C cable of the battery cradle with the USB-C port of the headset, located on the right side of the headset.
