The Micro-OLED (OLEDoS) lenses are the most sensitive components of the headset. They feature specialized anti-reflective and oleophobic (oil-resistant) coatings that can be easily stripped.
The Gold Rule:
Use ONLY the dry microfiber cloth provided in the box. Wipe in a gentle, circular motion from the center outward.
What to Avoid:
Never use alcohol-based wipes, glass cleaners, or even water. Liquid can seep into the motorized Auto-IPD mechanism behind the lenses, causing mechanical failure.
Dust Removal:
If there is persistent dust, use a manual rubber air blower (camera lens blower). Never use compressed air cans, as the freezing propellant can crack the lens surface.
