Before you start
- Power Up: Charge your headset for at least 30 minutes before beginning the initial setup.
- Samsung Account: Have your Samsung Account credentials ready to sync your Galaxy ecosystem settings and access the Galaxy Store.
- Environment: Ensure you have a clear physical space of at least 2m x 2m for the safest Mixed Reality experience.
- App Integration: For the best experience, ensure your Galaxy smartphone is updated to the latest One UI version.
How to wear the Samsung Galaxy XR
- Loosen: Rotate the Rear Fit Dial counter-clockwise to expand the head strap.
- Position: Place the visor against your face, then pull the strap down over the back of your head.
- Tighten: Turn the Rear Fit Dial clockwise until the headset feels secure but not restrictive.
- Top Strap: Adjust the velcro top strap to distribute the weight evenly across your head, reducing pressure on the bridge of your nose.
- Eye-Relief: If you wear glasses, use the side adjustment buttons to slide the visor forward for extra clearance.
How to use Auto-IPD Adjustment
- Power on the headset and follow the on-screen calibration prompts.
- Follow the moving light on the screen with your eyes.
- The internal motors will automatically move the lenses to align perfectly with your pupils for maximum visual clarity.
- Note: You can recalibrate this at any time in Settings > Display > IPD Calibration.
How to change the language on the Samsung Galaxy XR
- Press the Home Button on your right controller to bring up the One UI XR Quick Panel.
- Select the Settings (Gear icon).
- Go to General Management.
- Select Language.
- Tap Add Language and choose your preferred language from the list. List of the languages
- Select Set as Default to update the entire system interface.
