The Apple Vision Pro is a personal device, but when you want to let others try it, maintaining hygiene is a top priority to protect the health of both you and your guests.
Safe Sharing Protocols
- Dedicated Cushions: If you frequently share your device, consider using a separate set of Light Seal and Cushions for guests. This prevents the spread of bacteria and skin oils.
- Guest Mode Setup: Before handing over the device, activate Guest Mode in the Control Center to protect your Optic ID data and personal privacy.
- Hand Sanitization: Ask guests to wash their hands before touching the device, as they will be using Eyes & Hands gestures and may inadvertently touch the sensors on the glass.
Post-Use Storage
- Protect the Exterior: After sharing, use the Apple Polishing Cloth to wipe away fingerprints from the front glass to protect the Sensors and Cameras.
- Cover It Up: Always place the protective cover on the front when not in use to prevent dust from entering the speaker vents or the cooling system for the M2 and R1 Chips.
